The Nazarite Call is a 3 month internship program at the National House of Prayer in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). The program is geared towards young adults (18-35yr) who have set themselves apart for 3 months to pray for Canada, our Government, and be mentored by Canada’s top prayer leaders.
These “Nazarites” come from across Canada, and each one brings their experiences, talents, and passion for Christ. All Nazarites live onsite at the National House of Prayer. This means that we live in a continual state of community. Living in a prayer community is rewarding, but also challenging. Every day we are taught a great deal about loving our neighbor and preferring other’s instead of ourselves.
The purpose of this blog is to document the amazing things that God does when we enter into a lifestyle of prayer. Each Nazarite will be writing of their experiences and revelations. They’ll also be writing to give insight into the life of the National House of Prayer and the Nazarite program. Check us out daily and make us one of your bookmarks if you would like to stay in touch.
Here’s the current team of Nazarites (and 2 prayer missionaries), who are part of the Fall 2009 program.
